چکیده
Biofouling is a widespread phenomenon in oceans worldwide. With increasing human development and activities open coastal waters, due to the environmental impact of AF organotins copper-based paint, demand for nontoxic antifouling (AF) paints increasing. Various bioassays antimicrobial activity, anti-biofilm formation anti-barnacle settlement were established evaluate possibility using marine natural products as agents. A series products, isolated from marine-derived fungi Trichoderma atroviride T. reesei, evaluated their activity. One pyrone-type compound (1) demonstrated significant inhibitory toward barnacle cyprid settlement. Furthermore, pyrone analogues (S1-S6) synthesized, bioactivities systems. The results showed that compounds S5 S6 exhibited broad spectrum bioactivities, such settlement, activities.

In the title mol-ecule, C(22)H(27)NO, the piperidine ring adopts a chair conformation, with all substituents equatorial. The dihedral angle between the two phenyl rings is 56.90 (5)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. A C-H⋯π inter-action involving the phenyl ring at the 6-position is also found in the crystal structure.
متن کاملProduction of 6-pentyl-α-pyrone by trichoderma harzianum in solid-state fermentation
Many Trichoderma species are able to produce 6-pentyl-α-pyrone (6-PP), a lactone with coconut-like aroma. In the present work, several culture parameters were studied to enhance the production of 6-PP by Trichoderma harzianum 4040 in solid-state fermentation. Green coir powder added to a nutrient solution was used as support material for fermentation. A Plackett-Burman screening technique was a...

A comparative study of the secondary metabolism of two Trichoderma spp. with that of the Thctf1 transcription factor gene null mutant of Trichoderma harzianum 34 was carried out in order to deepen our knowledge of the biosynthetic pathway and mode of action of 6-pentyl-2H-pyran-2-one (1) and its derivatives as biocontrol agents. New isolated metabolites have shed light on the detoxification mec...
متن کاملModulation of proteasome machinery by natural and synthetic analogues of the marine bioactive compound petrosaspongiolide M.
Natural or synthetic? Several petrosaspongiolide M natural and synthetic analogues have been tested as proteasome inhibitors and apoptosis modulators. The natural petrosaspongiolide M congeners gave a consistent decrease in activity. Among the synthetic analogues, the introduction of the benzothiophene ring resulted in a bioequivalent alternative of the petrosaspongiolide M terpenoid system.
متن کاملMarine biofouling: a sticky problem.
Organisms that colonise underwater surfaces, such as barnacle larvae and spores of algae, use a diverse array of biological 'glues' to provide both temporary and more permanent adhesion. The practical consequence of colonisation by these organisms is biofouling - something that has plagued mariners for years - causing increased drag and, in extreme cases, corrosion. Might there be a biological ...
